About KTrack

KTrack is a Software as a Service business that helps building owners and contractors collect, manage, and deliver facility asset data.

The software, paired with KTrack’s service offerings, provide customers with customized project data execution planning, data collection, and project handover assistance to help them optimize their facility data management. Additionally, KTrack provides operations and maintenance solutions for building owners post-project handover.

Owen Knott, Founder and CEO of KTrack, originally developed the software in 2003 to elevate performance standards and track asset data for his other business, Knott Mechanical. Based on feedback he received from customers on KTrack’s utility beyond Knott Mechanical, Owen continued to grow KTrack’s features and functionality to what it is now: A full-service asset data management platform serving building owners and contractors all over.

Since 2016, Owen has directed the growth of KTrack’s Facilities Asset Management (FAM) and Digital Turnover (DT) modules, which have transformed KTrack into the revolutionary software it is today. FAM and DT were developed to perfect data collection for construction projects and codify information exchanges with building information modeling (BIM) and Facility Management (FM) systems. KTrack’s platform is proving to revolutionize project-based asset data as BIM continues to gain acceptance within the United States.

KTrack has evolved into a robust data collection and management platform that bridges the gap between BIM and FM. KTrack provides solutions to customers requiring data capture and management for new construction or renovation projects. Since 2018, we have featured key integrations with Revit and Procore, enhancing the breadth and speed of KTrack’s platform while dramatically expanding the utility of all data collected for each project.

Owen M. Knott

FOUNDER & CEO

Responsible for systems engineering, product development, and software development processes. Owen is the keystone founder who has driven all technical achievements to date.

Prior to KTrack, as a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Knott Mechanical (KM) Owen was responsible for managing and streamlining the operations of the company. Under his leadership, the company sustained a compounded annual growth rate of 20% for 15 years.

Owen Brings 20+ years of industry experience to KTrack, providing building owners and contractors with a software developed by experts, for experts.

While fulfilling the role of CEO at Knott Mechanical, Owen dedicated countless hours to infusing information technology into the business with the goal of providing an extraordinary experience to Knott’s clients while continually pursuing efficiency and productivity gains across the organization. He developed KTrack with this same goal: to provide an extraordinary experience to his clients. In his more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Owen has developed his expertise in HVAC, Plumbing, and Facility Asset Management.

As the architect of the KTrack Platform, Owen has harnessed Knott Mechanical as a test bed for proving design concepts with users and supporting Ktrack’s value with operational data. KTrack was developed specifically to provide solutions to the various problems his customers at Knott Mechanical were experiencing with regard to Facility Asset Management.

Owen is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Management Information Systems.

Mac McCulloch

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Mac joined KTrack in 2020 after spending the last 20 years operating, leasing, marketing, and managing institutional-level commercial real estate assets. Mac’s project and portfolio level experience is an ideal balance for KTrack’s platform of software and services.

Mac leads all external initiatives for KTrack including marketing, business development, customer success while leveraging his operations background to further enhance KTrack’s software.

Mac is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
